clearly expressed with a spirit of thankfulness--how important this is! I appreciated your transparency, as it reminded

Just started reading the book and I love it. I have been talking with Heidi for a few years now. I share a similar struggle with her husband Ladd, so this book is very touching and real for me as well. The book is a great reminder of why we
can never lose faith.

I Loved the book. Many folks in my family read it too! I cried from Helena to Portland as I read it!

This book details the true story of how Heidi and Ladd Paulson and their family have endured events that would be difficult for any family. During this trying time they depended on their faith in God's eternal love to get them through. This is a truly moving story that is a fairly short read, and well worth the effort.
You may question why God allows good people who are dedicated to love and protect others to suffer hardship and pain. This book begins to help open the door of understanding.
If you are going through heartache and pain this is a for you. If you're not, it's a great read because you'll never complain about your relatively minor trials again.

Once I started reading Dependence Day I couldn't put it down. What a wonderful testimony of faith! Thank you for sharing. I have always felt you can feel when people are lifting you up in prayer. It helps you get through the darkest of times. Always felt God has been with me to celebrate on the mountain top like when I got married, our kids were born and many other times. He was also there to carry me at the loss of my son, husband and through my cancer. Faith, Family & Friends.

Finished reading the book a couple of days ago, wow you guys thank you for sharing. I have felt God talking to me about talking in churches about mental illness including depression. Not every church is open and understanding about this type of struggles and what it is not. I am blessed to say that I know you guys. Thank you again.

Thank you for writing your book! For being raw, real and honest about your struggles and triumphs. It is so encouraging! And it really was something I needed to read right now. It reminded me that God is still there, leading, guiding, and He remains faithful even when things don't go the way I planned they would. And you encourage me to dip deep in His word and rely on His strength and not my own.
